Creating your own extract has never been easier simply follow these four steps:

Step1 – Split the individual beans lengthwise (cut them into smaller pieces if required to make fit) and place them inside of the included glass container.

Step 2 – Add 8 oz of your favorite vodka, rum, bourbon, or brandy making sure to completely submerge the vanilla beans.

Step 3 – Make sure to shake- shake- shake it up!  1 – 2 times a week.

Step 4 – Like fine wine all good things take time and vanilla extract is no different. After 8 weeks voila, your extraction is finished! You can leave or remove the vanilla beans as they only add to the flavor if left in.

Store your vanilla extract at room temperature and away from direct sunlight and it will last a lifetime!
